Customers often segment into groups based on certain characteristics or patterns of behavior. I conduct research to determine not just basic demographics, but also attitudes, preferences, intentions, pain points, barriers to purchasing, and other unique characteristics that differentiate one group from another. You might want to assign a name and photo to help you see your buyer personas as real people who represent your important audiences. Writing for a specific person (even though she is fictitious) is easier than writing to an anonymous individual or to a group.
